For weekday appointments, 2–3 days in advance is usually enough. For weekends or special styles like full goddess locs or large box braids, we recommend booking 5–7 days ahead. For special occasions (prom, weddings), book 2 weeks in advance.

Yes. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment through Vagaro or by calling (860) 953-5838. We understand life happens — just give us a heads up so we can offer the slot to another client.

It depends on the style and your hair length:

• Cornrows (simple): 45 min – 1.5 hours
• Box braids (medium): 3–5 hours
• Knotless braids: 4–6 hours
• Goddess/Faux locs: 5–8 hours
• Small/micro braids: 6–10 hours

We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, CashApp). Payment is collected at the end of your appointment.

We provide braiding hair for most styles — it's included in the service price. If you have a specific brand, color, or texture preference, you're welcome to bring your own. Ask when booking if you're unsure.

Yes, please come with clean, detangled hair. Wash and condition your hair 1–2 days before your appointment. Avoid heavy oils or leave-in products the day of — clean hair braids better, lasts longer, and is more comfortable.

For most styles with extensions, your natural hair only needs to be at least 2 inches long. For natural styles without extensions (like natural cornrows), we recommend at least 3–4 inches. If you're unsure, call us and we'll advise you.

Yes! We welcome clients of all ages. We're patient and gentle with little ones. For very young children (under 3), please call ahead so we can discuss the best approach and ensure a comfortable experience.
